Since Symphony of the Seas is somewhat bigger than her sisters and Royal Caribbean’s fourth Oasis-class ship overall, she holds the title of largest cruise ship in the world. Symphony of the Seas, which was then being constructed at the STX France shipyard, was delivered to the cruise line on March 23, 2018.

The third ship in the series, Harmony of the Seas, was delivered by STX France at its Saint-Nazaire shipyard in May 2016. In June of last year, the ship made her maiden voyage, delivering seven-night Western Mediterranean voyages between Barcelona and Civitavecchia.
With a gross tonnage of 226,963 GT, Harmony of the Seas has a length of 362.12 metres and a maximum beam of 66 metres. This largest ship can accommodate 5,479 passengers when double occupancy is used, and it has 2,747 cabins with virtual balconies.
All of Royal Caribbean’s signature attractions, such as Central Park, Vitality at Sea Spa and Fitness Center, Boardwalk, the Royal Promenade, and Entertainment Place are featured on Harmony of the Seas, just like they are on its sister ships.

The second Royal Caribbean cruise ship in the Oasis-class series, The allure of the Seas, was constructed at the STX Europe shipyards in Turku, Finland. Onboard, there are 25 dining options, including the first Starbucks coffee shop at sea in history. There are numerous whirlpools on board the Allure of the Seas, some of which have ocean views, as well as a state-of-the-art fitness centre featuring classes including yoga and tai chi.
The allure of the Seas, which debuted in October 2010, can accommodate 5,400 passengers when double occupancy is used. The luxurious cruise ship’s features include a two-deck dance hall, a 1,380-seat theatre, an ice rink, a concierge club and spa, and exercise facilities.
4. Oasis of the Seas

With double occupancy, the yacht can accommodate 5,400 guests on its 16 passenger decks, with a total capacity of 6,296.
The Oasis of the Seas has an overall length of 361.6 metres, a height above water of 72 metres, a depth of 22.55 metres, and a gross tonnage of 225,282 tonnes.
The Oasis of the Seas features three firsts for the cruise industry: an outdoor Aqua Theater, an open-air walkway carved out along the length of the ship, and a Central Park full of restaurants. The ship’s glass-covered Solarium with pool, surf simulators, Zipline, and rock-climbing walls are among the other popular entertainment options.

The Italian cruise line Costa Cruises operates the state-of-the-art LNG-powered Costa Smeralda, which bears the name of Sardinia’s Emerald Coast. The Costa Smeralda is presently running in the Mediterranean Sea and has started carrying passengers.
The ship is built with a number of environmentally friendly technology in mind, creating a “Smart Floating City” that provides luxury to its passengers while simultaneously lowering the carbon footprint of the ship. One of the ships that arrived just before the COVID 19 Pandemic began is this one.

Another LNG-powered P&O Cruises cruise ship, Iona, was scheduled to set sail in May 2020. Delivery was hampered by the coronavirus outbreak, and the P&O ship finally got it in October 2020. Iona was shipped, but because the cruise industry, including P&O Cruises, stopped down, she was delayed for a while.

The AIDAnova by AIDA Cruises is the only cruise ship ever built that can operate both at sea and in port using liquefied natural gas (LNG). The AIDAnova has almost 2,600 passenger cabins, with a gross tonnage of about 183,900 GT, a length of 337 metres, and a breadth of 42 metres. The first vessel in MEYER WERFT’s Helios class, designated as AIDAnova, will be constructed for the AIDA CRUISES cruise line.
Following AIDAnova, Carnival Corporation has ordered eleven additional next-generation “green” cruise ships with LNG propulsion both in port and at sea. Delivery dates range from 2019 to 2025, positioning the cruise industry at the forefront of LNG use.
8. MSC Grandiosa
The Meraviglia Plus-Class cruise ship MSC Grandiosa was introduced in November 2019. It is bigger than the 2017-launched MSC Meraviglia. She has the first humanoid robotic bartender at sea!
The Meraviglia-Plus class’s inaugural vessel was constructed in France at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard and launched in late October 2019. With the exception of the 2020 industry shutdown, she has been sailing since her christening on November 10, 2019, in Hamburg, Germany.
It is operated by MSC Cruises and measures 331 metres in length (16 metres longer than MSC Meraviglia). Due to its 181, 541 GT, it can accommodate 6334 passengers in all of its 2421 staterooms. Additionally, it houses the cruise ship’s largest shopping centre in terms of capacity.

Carnival Cruise Lines, the largest cruise line in the world, operates the Mardi Grass, a cruise ship with a 180,000 gross tonne LNG propulsion system. The Mardi Gras is the first XL-class ship for Carnival Cruise Line, bringing the line into the LNG era.
The Meuer Turku Shipyard, which was established in the midst of the pandemic, delivered it in December 2020. The TSS Mardi Gras, the company’s first cruise ship, which made its debut in 1972, is referenced in the name Mardi Grass. In April 2021, the Carnival Mardi Gras is scheduled to open for business.
