Ireland: 7 Died As Gas Station explodes in the country
A number of seven persons had been reported to be killed in an explosion at a gas station in a northwest Ireland, this was confirmed by the state police on Saturday, as emergency personnel searched for more victims.
Irish police on Saturday confirmed the death of four persons overnight, adding to three initial death, while eight persons is said to be in the hospital and many are still unaccounted for after the blast of Apple Green Service, a gas station situated at Creeslough, County Donegal.
Cause of the explosion is still unknown and under investigation.
The blast explosion leveled the the station building, the village post office and damage near by buildings.

The prime minister of Irish, Micheál Martin in a condolence statement said that the incident was one of the “Darkest Of Days for Donegal and the country entirely”.
The minister further said
“People across this island will be numbed by the same sense of shock and utter devastation as the people of Creeslough at this tragic loss of life,”
Charlie McConalogue, the Agriculture Minister representing Donegal in Ireland Parliament spoke about the gas station, the service station is “the heart” of the local community, because of its prominent position on the major N56 road. The service station was well known across the country he added.
“People are shocked and numbed,” he told Irish broadcaster RTE.
“People have been rallying together and everyone’s concern is with the families of those who have lost their loved ones and how they can support them in the days ahead.”
