What exactly is NFT?
A non-fungible token (NFT) is a unique, non-transferable data unit that is stored on a blockchain, a sort of digital ledger. NFTs can be linked to reproducible digital assets, such as photographs, videos, and audio. NFTs use a digital ledger to provide a public certificate of authenticity or evidence of ownership, but the underlying digital files are shared and copied freely. NFTs are distinguishable from blockchain-based cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin by their inability to be exchanged (fungibility).

Although some may have dismissed them as a passing craze, NFTs show no signs of slowing down, and the values of the most costly tokens continue to grow. It can be difficult and financially risky to go into the world of bitcoin and blockchain technology, but for these artists it has certainly paid off. It is important to note that only a small number of NFT inventors are successful. check out Top 20 Most Famous Person in The World

The Merge by digital artist Pak is the most expensive NFT ever sold, claiming the number one position. Pak is another well-known NFT artist, having created some of the most recognisable pieces. The artist’s genuine identity is unknown, but that has not prevented them from gaining a considerable fanbase in the digital art community. Pak’s Merge is the most creative NFT they have ever created. The Merge was a collection of masses that could be purchased by anyone, as opposed to a single, static work of art.
2. The First 5000 Days – $69 Million
At its first-ever digital art auction, Christie’s sold a massive collection of Beeple’s artworks for a record-breaking price of $69 million. Since May of 2007, Beeple has created artwork every single day, without fail. Variable in style, medium, and subject, and frequently employing dystopian or satirical circumstances, art is produced daily. According to Artnet, Beeple is the “third most expensive living artist” in terms of auction values, after Jeff Koons and David Hockney.

This is another Beeple NFT, and while it is not the artist’s most expensive piece, it may be the most peculiar. Human One, unlike the majority of NFTs, is a hybrid design that combines physical and digital components. It is an aluminium, mahogany, and four television screen sculpture with a 16K resolution. Beeple asserts that he will continue to update the avatar as long as he lives, making any modifications he deems necessary.
4. CryptoPunk #7523 – $11.7 Million
A synthetic avatar selling for more than $7 million is difficult to dispute. However, what about a home that sold for more than $12 million? This was the case with CryptoPunk $7523, which DraftKings shareholder Shalom Mackenzie purchased for $11.7 million. CryptoPunk #7523 is also a member of the Alien series, albeit its attachments differ from those of #7804 and #3100. Similar to CryptoPunk #7804, one of the most expensive CryptoPunks is also one of the nine Alien Punks. It resembles SpongeBob SquarePants’ constantly bullied cephalopod, Squidward, in skin coloration. Additionally, the Alien wears a blue-and-white headband, which is worn by about 406 of 10,000 characters. The Punk, which was sold on March 11, 2021, began its journey with a bid of $76 in 2017, progressed with a bid of $2 million, and eventually achieved its current price of $7.58 million.
6. CryptoPunk #7804 – $7,570,000
CryptoPunk #7804 is distinctive since it is one of just nine Alien CryptoPunks manufactured by Larva Labs. Aliens, Apes, and Zombies are among the CryptoPunks who are not typical. The most well-known of Beeple’s dystopian artworks mocking American presidential hopefuls such as Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, and Bernie Sanders is his Crossroads painting. At Crossroads, there is a large baby that resembles Donald Trump, whose body is plastered with graffiti such as “Loser.” A Twitter-themed bluebird perches on the shoulder of the figure, while a clown emoji fills the speech bubble above. Crossroads, a painting representing the outcome of the presidential election of 2020, was sold via Nifty Gateway for $6.6 million.
8. Ocean Front – $6 Million
Beeple is an additional prominent NFT brand with Larva Labs. Beeple’s has sold numerous NFTs that have broken world records, including the NFT displayed above.
